Most people go about life being controlled by their cravings. It’s almost as if the cravings were in charge, and every little hankering must be indulged. But you think you know better, because you can sometimes squash these hunger pangs and white knuckle your way through.

The reality is that all attempts to repress, resist, or submerge cravings are in vain.

There are three layers to your cravings, and it’s only once you really understand how they operate that you can stop and eliminate them.

Natalie, you have great voice, and I love the hat. You make a gorgeous witch……Very creative!!! And great content. I have been working hard to substitute my cravings with raw foods, and I can identify with everything you are saying here. Esp. the part where you talk about sabotage (I do that all the time :) )! I have to admit though, I couldn’t get the muscle testing to work for me :(

    Hi Farnoosh,

For the muscle testing, try taking a few deep breaths and relaxing a bit, then give it another go. Don’t think about it too much, just let your body respond how it would naturally. Hope that solves it!

What? You want me to relax too? :) ))) Just kidding. You are right, I need to give this a try. I’ll take a stab at it at 33,000 feet flying west tomorrow morning. And think of you when it works. Thanks Nathalie!!!

Thanks for the info… I plan on using this. Very helpful. Since I nearly polished a bag of fritos in just a few days time. Dorinda

Great information, very clear and effective. Muscle testing and tapping are 2 good resources to learn and apply in many situations. I’m grateful that food cravings are almost nonexistent since I’ve gone 100% raw. However, the smells of cooked food are very appealing. So perhaps some more tapping!
